Bailey Bench Plane Collection

OldToolUser's Bench Plane Collection (#3 to #8)

The set of user bench planes I have collected and restored consist mainly of Stanley Bailey Type 9,10 and 11.  I chose this type as one that is easier to restore. The surfaces were the frog meets the sole are more solid in particular and I prefer the low front knob. I am not an expert on bench planes. Type Studies of the Bailey Bench Plane have been posted by others better informed than I (Jay Sutherland, Patrick Leach, Etc. ) but given here is a "Wizard" written in the JavaScript language which can help you determine the "Type" of your Bailey bench plane using the protocols previously developed by Sutherland.
