Dimensions:   8-1/2 inches long
Cutter: 1-3/4 inch wide before 1936
               1-7/8 inch after 1935
Construction: Cast iron
Finish: Japanned
User Info: For fillester and rabbet work where a heavy-duty tool is required. The skew cutter makes this plane especially adapted for tough hardwoods.
Average Price: $150 to $350
Type 1:   $200 to $400 ( 1911 to 1915)
Notes: Type 1 has "T" trademark on cutter and Bodmer's 6/7 and 8/23/1910 patents in the casting. Later types will have the "V" and "SW" trademarks, etc.
